Little Papers offers a series of online watercolour painting workshops held on Sundays.

Block 3: Hands

In this short workshop series on ‘hands,’ we will look at the intricate mechanisms of the hands and explore their depiction in Eastern European religious icons. We’ll create images that convey movement, emotion, and storytelling, seeking authenticity and depth, while capturing the unique strangeness of icon painting.

Session 1: hand anatomy

Session 2: hands in religous icon painting
